It's been too long...

Guys, I have a confession right away...

I enjoy reading blogs way more than I enjoy writing in them!!

However I feel that it is very cathartic to write and post pictures and to view them later so I want to do better.

I feel that to start off this extremely tardy post, I need to give some picture updates.  My children have grown so much!
Ice Day 2013- we had over 3 days iced in!

Brr!!  It was below freezing for 4 days straight.

I know it's late but this was our Halloween family picture.

How tall will they be next year!?

Mikah at 7, showing off his beautiful adult teeth!  His entire front top and bottom are full of adult teeth already!
Feliciti at 6, on the other hand she has her entire mouth of baby teeth!

Madilyn at 4, showing off her sassy smile and adorable pose!
Seriously guys, my family is completely different than the last time I posted! (Which was, I'm embarrassed to admit March 2013!)

Justin is now officially a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Marriage and Family. We are so excited about this accomplishment-it's been a long 8 year process starting with his Masters in 2006. I'm so proud of him! We just celebrated our 12 year anniversary and it has been a truly amazing ride! To think that I met Justin when I was only 17!  Praise the Lord we grew up together!

Mikah is now playing soccer. His favorite position is goalie.  :)
We also went to California so I attached a couple of those pictures but a whole post is coming on that amazing trip.   See you soon!

DeHart/Ziebarth Family Camping Trip 2013

We went camping this past weekend with my amazing brother, his wonderful wife and their two adorable boys.  We had a blast!  I am going to mostly let the pictures do the talking cause they are awesome!  WARNING- lots of pictures to follow!  :)

All the cousins May 2013

Tree climbing was a big past time!

Our Christmas lights and bounty

We almost always had a fire going which was nice since it was cold at night!

Lots of boy bonding (Judah wasn't crying, I caught him in a weird face, lol)

What a good helper!

Lots of cuddling!

I had to take Mikah to his soccer game so they did some hiking while we were gone

Silly girls

Feliciti got into the climbing too!

Madilyn found this huge mushroom

If you look closely, you will see Feliciti at the bottom, Mikah higher up and then Vivian (Aunt Bibi) all the way at the top!

I think it's hilarious that both Justin and Vivian are posing holding the pole!

Got some good bro/sis time!

My beautiful sis and bro

My sweetie peetie!

More climbing!

Feliciti loved stoking the fire

There are no words...

Love this picture!  That is Joe Pool Lake

Silly Ziebarth kids

We had such a great time on our camping trip that we will definitely be doing again!  These memories are so important...even though honesty time, I do not like to sleep outside...at all.  But we really did have a good time and will do it again!

Bluebonnets 2013

Well I don't have to tell you all that this post is long overdue.  And the excuses will not go on and on...the truth of the matter is that I enjoy reading other blogs and I make time for that activity but I do not make time in my life for blogging.  I would like to continue keeping my family blog alive but I will definitely continue with my weekly reading other people's fashion blogs, cooking blogs or family blogs.  I really love reading what other moms are doing, wearing and/or cooking!

We decided that we wanted to get some bluebonnet pictures this year before they magically go away and we had a blast!  Yes it is always stressful taking pictures with 3 kids...especially with Madilyn who never looks at the camera or who plays with the bluebonnets or cries because the dirt hurts her.  Deep breaths...or when my hubby has brought the camera tripod and it keeps cutting off his head because he is way taller than all of us!  Or when Mikah has this strange grimace-smile that he is doing nowadays...or when the mud/quicksand surrounding the bluebonnets is ruining all of our shoes!

So needless to say, life with the Ziebarth's is sometimes crazy, stressful, frustrating, loud and sore but we got some great pictures!  Ha!

Family picture- love how you can see the kid's personalities in this picture.

Feliciti took this picture of Justin and me...we never get pictures together so we were pumped!  Notice my piece sign on Justin's leg! Ha!

This is our youngest Princess who has more personality than we could have ever imagined! She is our little genius and is curious about everything.  She loves to ride bikes, play with her siblings and watch TV.  She knows how to spell and write her name, knows all her letters and numbers and can hold a conversation with adults.  She keeps us all laughing and life is a stage for her!

This is our oldest Princess who has the most compassionate heart and creative mind.  She has the most amazing imagination and prefers to draw, create or collect ladybugs.  She is always attached to Mommy and oftentimes you will find us with matching hair styles.  :)  She is excelling in Kindergarten and loves to write short stories with an illustration.

This is our handsome Prince who is growing up so fast with his vocabulary, spiritual earnestness and love for others!  He loves to play video games and will often do more school work or chores to get more 'game time'.  He prays often and is truly seeking the Lord in making good choices in his life.  His passion overnight for reading has been remarkable to watch as he reads everything he sees!

We are beyond blessed to be called Daddy and Mommy to these babies...He has called us to train them up in His way and to raise Godly, Christian men and women who will truly change the world for His kingdom.  What an amazing calling!

Christmas 2012

Ziebarth Family  12/2012
We finally got together and took some pictures of our family!!!  We hadn't taken official portraits since Feliciti was only 1 and look at her here- she's 5!  We had a great time and there were lots of other pictures...as soon as I can get those on here, stay tuned.  :)

Summer 2012

This has been an amazing summer!  I have had the entire summer available for family time with no trainings!  It has been awesome!  We started our summer with a trip to Colorado which needs its own post coming soon.
Below are several pictures we have taken from our summer together.  Heavy on the pictures with some captions.  :)  Enjoy!
July 4, 2012 Mansfield League of Dreams

My favorite picture this summer- an impromptu photo taken before church one Sunday

Adorable poses!  These kids are so crazy!

We had some outdoor splash time...complete with this little pool with slide (thanks Mom!) and the below baseball sprinkler.

Swimsuits optional :)

I think the swimsuits were actually in the washing machine since we have done a lot of swimming this summer!

This photo is hilarious!  Always the dramatic one!

Even Daddy had some fun!

This furry 'little' lion was won last summer but the kids pull him out of the garage time and time again to play with.  Notice the girl's hands-on-hips-pose...this is the new thing for my girls with the head tilt.  LOL!

While Mommy was in Galveston with Mimi and Aunt Bibi, Yaya and Grandad and Daddy took the kiddos to the Peach Festival in Weatherford.  They had a blast as you can see below.

Yaya lemonade time

Balloon animals!!!

Cuties!

They also had some fun splash time at the Arlington Splash park.  Swimsuits not optional here!  ;)

Sliding with some boys, haha!
The pictures below need some more explanation...the 2 older kids have been complaining a lot more about being scared at night.  So our prayers have been centered around how strong the Lord is and how He is our fortress and strength in our times of trouble.
Psalm 27:1-3 The Lord is my Light and my Salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the Stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 18:1-3 I love you Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer; my God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge, my Shield, my Stronghold.
We finally got the kitchen cabinets in and they came in huge cardboard boxes.  Justin had the bright idea during his quiet time one day to have the kids create 'God castles' to protect them.  It is a physical symbol of how the Lord is with us always protecting us.  They keep them in their rooms by their beds and it has been great!  Plus it was a super fun summer project!

Feliciti working on her castle which was a representation of Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Mikah posing with his God-castle and the creator behind it all (Daddy found all the castles on Google Images, drew them and cut them out)

Feliciti and Daddy showing off her beautiful God-castle

Madilyn and Daddy with their God-castle which was a representation of Rapunzel's castle

We have had a great summer so far...we have a little less than 3 weeks left before I have to go back to work.  But we are going to take advantage of every second!
